SensiLase
The Wound Center uses the non-invasive SensiLase system to obtain important information about your circulation, to help identify any abnormalities that may be treated in an effort to optimize wound healing and prevent worsening that may result in amputation. The experts at Wound Institutes of America specialize in limb preservation and salvage, and work with our patients to create treatment plans that target your individual needs and lifestyle.
At your first appointment, we will do a multi-level vascular evaluation of both your arterial and venous circulatory systems. The three diagnostics evaluated with SensiLase include SPP (Segmental Skin Perfusion), PVR (Pulse Volume Recording), and ABI (Ankle Brachial Index). We also monitor your circulation as needed on future appointments to evaluate for any changes that may warrant further treatment.
